I hope they get another season. I never read the book, but I want to see where it goes. Off scene stuff aside, they have a great cast and this season sure got back to being engaging. Neil’s still on board with it...

I enjoyed it, thought it was much better than the other version. It was a bit bloated, but, I was ok with it. I rarely hate more story, from LoTR down the line. If you haven’t liked Snyder’s take since Man Of Steel to now this isn’t going to turn you around on him.

Top gear started as a pure car lover show and turned into a quazi travel show as well, which broadened it’s appeal. It was almost survivor/the great race in many ways as well. It worked, it ballooned their audience and left the car lovers pissed off they weren’t being exclusively catered to any more. The why’s are

It’s about time, instead of a Re-run, they could put both Amber’s show and the Larry Willmore show on in that hour and make it a thing.

I was hanging in for the auto play video, but I suppose this slideshow was good enough.

He has his own issues, yes.

Everyone hates Millar for that, but think about how many levels of editorial and administrative that approved it before it ever saw the light of day. Plenty of blame to go around there.

Forget it Jake, It’s Jezebel. There will be more clickbait articles about how Biden is failing the progressives, POC, and frankly everyone by not ramming through legislation you’d need 60+ votes for, with an EO that the Supreme Court would surely overturn.

Did I get here in time?

And a sneaky good Hugh Grant impersonation at the end.

I wouldn’t go past good. All made me laugh at some point, but will any of them be remembered in 10 years? Loco, maybe but it will be dated... The interview or Ice Cube, I’m sorry, Coldy Squares sketch...

I don’t think there were any great sketches this week, but the odder they went the more it worked. Rege was pretty great in anything they put him in, he learned the secret. Totally commit or it’s going to fail. I mean, I don’t think any of these will make the best of the year, but that’s the writing. He has comedic

Just on the AoU stuff, there was studio interference as well, as Joss didn’t want to do what they wanted, so they played hardball and he became a load about the whole thing. At least Edgar Wright left Antman before that happened to him. He may have made a better movie but I doubt it would work within the MCU.

Buffy/Angel wasn’t my thing, though tons of people loved it, I tried Dollhouse, it was ok... The Serenity (Firefly) movie was good. I didn’t even think AoU was bad, the failure was in imagination. Ultron isn’t a great one and done. Should have been a slow burn like Thanos, but not sure that was his call, so I’ll be

My bad, actual slip not snark.

The cult is bad. The Brownshirts the worst amongst them... doesn’t mean things he did weren’t good. It just means he’s awful. That Avengers movie was still pretty perfect.

When his Ex-Wife spoke out about stuff, there were rumbles, rumors but no one was ready to destroy any chance of a career they had to go after him. Then the JL stuff happened and, now it’s a slow trickle. There are others, who, for their reasons, are keeping quiet. If you make money in Hollywood they’ll forgive almost

But what’s the baseline to deal with a psychotic episode when someone can rewrite reality? Short answer, there isn’t. You send someone in, and they lose who they are because they are being re-written. With flashes of awareness. How do you negotiate under those circumstances? And that assumes some logical goal...

I partially agree.. It’s not just the lack of Qanon, it’s that there are now two competing networks for the tin foil hat crowd, where for deacdes they were the only option. Add in that those two doubled down on any theory no matter how insane until that lawsuit was filed a few days ago... that explains their erosion.

Sometimes all you have is bad options. Just imagine if it was ‘our’ reality. all of a sudden some super powered person just disappeared a small town. How do you think we, as a society would cope. Now look at their reality. half of the world disappears, presumed dead for 5 years...
