That’s been going on for decades in NYC. Babysitters are expensive. Let’s not blame Covid

I have this argument with people who INSIST it’s horrible because they don’t like the last 10m. Not only that, EVERYONE hated it, it’s universal (except for me). I let the toxic fandom rant a bit and point out IMDB and rotten tomatoes disagree. It’s fun to watch their heads explode.

Generate those clicks somehow. Anger anger anger

You even get to the point, she’ll be back in a few months max. People are way too worked up over this. Watching the internet lose it’s collective minds over it is always going to be confusing. If it was going to stick, I’d agree, this wasn’t the way, but it’s a no stakes game.

List fails without REM - Superman & They Might Be Giants - Istanbul (not Constantanople)... had space for demos, lol.

It’s always odd when people are angry about things that the ‘victim’ isn’t mad about. I get the issue and yes, it can be annoying, but if comedy doesn’t land, that’s all it is.

A video? I guess I’ll never know...

I mean, we’re just light touching that they set up a whole thing at the end of last season and just go ‘fuck that, band’s back together’ moment? It’s so them, the misdirection.

Damn, name really checks out, +1

I’m an old white guy who wants to complain about the halftime show, is this the place for that? Just kidding, everyplace is the place for that when you’re me.

I think on it further, I think Rand = Dull is the biggest misdirection of all, I think it will pay off, with them showcasing everyone else right now.

For all the people fretting about them changing who the dragon is, I think you do not need to worry. All the plot elements that would be altered, Andor, The waste and so forth... It would be too much heavy lifting for no reason. They just don’t want to make it glaringly obvious at this point. Well, at least until

Rand being dull? He’s a sheepherder. He’s supposed to be country dull. At least at this point.

Tron was... the future, computers, graphics, and concepts. It wasn’t great, but it at least was a huge shift. I like it but I don’t love it.

Yikes, no editor to tell you what beloved means? I mean... I agree with you on some of these, but half of these were reviled in their times. Cult movies aren’t beloved, they just found their niche.

Nothing about any of this make sense if you look too closely. If you’re into hyper realism, this genre isn’t for you. Every mammal with a Y chromosome died instantly (or over the course of a day on the TV show) for no reason. I mean, there was a reason, but we’re still not sure, but all of it is voodoo. All three of

What a horrible take. They made a decision that’s paid off 1000x over to have it be a shared universe. It’s not that they can’t, it’s after 13 years now, that’s just how they’re doing it. They’ll introduce the Eternals and Shang Chi who are unrelated except in passing cameo’s to the last 13 years and that’s not

They’ll diverge from Walking Dead fairly soon in vibe. Season 2 for sure. There’s a crash but it doesn’t stay crashed. And yes, both Hero and Yorrick are not supposed to be likable at first. That’s intentional.

Stagnation would not be the word I used. They mined almost all the spy material... they just expanded and realized it’s a character driven show not plot driven.

This type of review is a lazy trap. If they do the same old same old, it’s rehashing, if they change anything it’s a departure from the golden era... And lazy ‘it’s not the original team’ digs. When a show that made fun of the premise since day once continues to do so, it’s not a bad thing. Spy dramas would just be
