I think the disconnect is that he’s their top rated show but their ratings are very down. Both can be true at once. It may just be a message to the rest of their knuckleheads to cut the Qanon shit.

I get that, but after 19 movies, without a whiff of the guy, making him the bad guy would just be so cheap. Almost all the marvel stuff builds off other things. It’s not random god tier people out of nowhere every movie or two.

I still say if they try to pin this on Mephisto, out of the blue, it’s gonna be bad. Unearned. It’s just possible she really just broke and may be having a split or Borderline personality.

I think you got it wrong and are way to hard on Haywood. Sure, he’s a load... but you’re dealing with people who watched the ‘Snappening’ and the return. New York nearly gets destroyed in Avengers 1, Avengers 2, a whole country bites it... and it only got worse. There’s no way any Government is going to mess around

I’ve heard of them and a few others on a FB Midnight Oil page of Powderworkers!

But they’re not wrong, they’re just focusing on the wrong thing. The biggest mistake was expecting 3 directors who are very dissimilar to make a story that builds off each other. Rain didn’t want to go in JJ’s direction, and Trevor bailed before he had to redirect from the first two, so you had a back door JJ trilogy

That’s where I saw them as well. First real concert. They were amazing.

First, Inxs and Midnight Oil deserve the Rock and Roll HOF. New Wave/Non Grunge alternative of the 80s and 90s still gets disrespect. More so if not American. The British aren’t treated well on that but the Aussies far worse. Depeche Mode taking that long proves the point, let’s hope this time around, and FFS not

The Hydra/Stryker stuff is from her MCU origins as well though, but yes, the soap is a nice egg.

I believe Loeb’s kid had just died and he just was in a bad place and went super dark. It’s not his typical work and everyone felt bad for the guy and... didn’t fix it before they published.

Money, man, the root of all evil.

Is that you, Morrissey?

Well yeah, think about the budget on a comic series for a year and how much one decent movie can make, or TV shows.... Why would you fund all these books that you know are going to fail if you weren’t getting secondary uses out of their material? Also, fans like stories they already know, despite the twists. Those

Every decade or so there will be a soft or hard reboot/massive retcon because of the drift. This is almost 40 years since Crisis and that’s just how it is. You start great, in theory, and as writers change, you end up with 7 people voicing the same character and it doesn’t work. The creative freedom given to big

Well you have to start with the point that they took ALL the Ragnars and made a choice they were the same person. We are not sure the same one who hit Paris was the one who also hit England, for example. Rollo wasn’t born for what, 100-150 years after that? They weren’t brothers in any version (I also thought he was

I’m not sold, tbh, but it’s a discussion. You can argue Vikings didn’t settle, but, in Ireland, Scotland, France, Rus, Iceland, Greenland and england, and more they did. It’s just a fuzzy line. We all agree it started at Lindisfarne, we disagree where it ends.

Yes, but that discounts the Normands who weren’t fully french. Who went on to hold onto southern Italy and other things in the years after. I mean, they’re the descendants of Rollo’s group that was given the land to guard from other Vikings. From the English standpoint it did end at Stamford Bridge or Hastings, for

I enjoyed the ending. I’m a history buff, and, I’m very forgiving of the liberties taken here all series, because it’s fun. They needed a cohesive story and a narrative. But one of the things you’ll notice in history debates is when did the age of the Viking truly end. It’s a debate. And it ended with a fizzle, or a

There’s a line that the older generation try to walk between don’t be a twat and the other side goes too far. The response to anyone who says this from him, Cleese, and down the line kinda bears out their point. There’s no excuse for being shitty, phobic, racist and the like. But expecting 60-80 year olds to be as
