I remember being around vegetarians like that when I was in high school and college (and they could be turning it up for the attention) but most who I know now don’t eat meat for ethical or health reasons, have been omnivores at once point and miss some dishes that had meat and appreciate the substitutes.

You can’t imagine someone giving up meat for ethical reasons but missing the taste of things like this?

For me it depends on the night. It’s really tough to drop a Sunday night viewing habit and I’ll watch anything that gets its hooks in me until the end. I have to make myself remember to watch a show I enjoy that’s on a Thursday.

Life’s too short to sit down and actively watch bad TV but a lot of mediocre shows are good for half-watching while you fold laundry or something.

Family Guy is wildly uneven and mostly awful but every now and then there’s a really good episode. Like they give some young writer free reign and nobody cares enough about the show at this point to muddle it up.

His death was kind of funny since it was a total Poochie moment. They just froze the frame and held it for a while to show he died.

Spielberg divorced Amy Irving for Capshaw and I’m pretty sure that was major tabloid news at the time.

But the show isn’t about Pierpoint and they’re not going to be leaving “The Industry.” Even if they do all drift— which isn’t a given, I mean Yas now needs a job more than ever and could be back on the floor, Robert probably isn’t going to get fired, Harper is wily enough to land somewhere in their orbit— they’ll

Leaving Pierpoint isn’t leaving that world. I could easily see it continuing.

I’m expecting a few Burger King customers to fail drug tests soon with those poppy seeds.

How is not giving an inflated grade a bad thing? That just shows me there’s still a scrap of credibility hanging on here.

I didn’t realize Johnny Sack from the Sopranos was a Russo Brother.

I wouldn’t say he’s bad at all, but he turned me off for a long time after he was in a lot of maudlin “sad clown” roles that just looked unwatchable. Same thing kind of happened with Robin Williams.

Yeah and the difference between Trader Joes and a cult is if you give the vibe you don’t want to talk about what you’re doing this weekend or why you’re buying something they always seem to get it and don’t hassle you.

It’s not weird at all. Voice acting for animation is often age agnostic and all that matters is if it sounds right for the character. I mean, Lisa and Bart are voiced by actors in their 50s and 60s— it’s how it’s always been done. Kids tend to not be very good at voice acting anyway so adults who can sound youthful

I could be wrong and hope I am but I think we’re going to see a lot more recaps than thoughtful reviews from here on out on the AV Club because the writers are getting paid almost nothing now. I mean if you’re paid $25 an article (I have no idea what they make, just a guess) you can’t devote a day a week to a new

Kimmy now lives in Florida where it’s really hard to collect on a civil suit. Didn’t seem like she had much to take anyway. It’s a worry but I don’t know what they could do to her.

I swear Diet Coke is one of the most addictive substances available. More difficult to give up than nicotine.

Has anyone ever ordered the shrimp at a Popeyes? If there’s a weak link I bet it’s that.

I think that will happen too— but with a not-entirely-unhappy ending where he’s in prison for 10 years or so, gave up on “Saul” for good and Kimmy is visiting with a possibility of a better future for them some day.
