America has a lot to answer for but at least we’re one of the very few countries that beats ourselves up over our racism. 

I don’t think GoT was a “silent majority” show like Yellowstone where the audience isn’t who’s vocal on the internet. The GoT fanbase had a massive internet presence.

Chapelle’s an asshole but wasn’t the housing deal more complicated than him saying NIMBY? Like the developer was bait-and-switching a tiny portion of the lots as low-income housing and the vast majority would be above market?

These guys never acknowledge that the work being done in television/streaming now can be as innovative and creative as film was in their day.

The Sopranos, The Wire and Mad Men all had impeccable casting and a strong missions statement too, like you could tell these were stories that had to be told and meant a lot to the creator.

I’m not watching John Mulaney do anything ever again. He has made mistakes in his personal life and I demand my comedians be clean-living role models. 

Maybe there’s a Wizard of Oz reference but I am positive the tornado was lifted from A Serious Man.

Being first just isn’t the same when Kinja’s default is to display most popular.

He was really good looking, I think that much have had something to do with it. He’s great in those movies with Goldie Hawn. I think once his looks started to go and once he started playing goofball dads might be where he started to lose it.

The name does makes sense because it’s so unusual for a dwarf to wear a helm or know how to use a hammer.

Zan’s a fucking idiot who doesn’t know his own powers. If he can turn into a bucket of water he obviously has the ability to become metals too.

Season one really worked with the large cast. It felt like a sinister John Hughes movie... Nate’s even a dead ringer for Jake from Sixteen Candles. I still think this one’s great but I can’t deny Levinson seems to have lost interests in some of the characters. 

I could see AJ driving an American truck but Meadow is German or Japanese luxury brand all the way.

I don’t like to endorse hitting people but Pete Davidson’s self-awareness about his hitability makes me want to hit him even more.

Let’s stop having them in China for a while, and Russia too. I’m not watching these primarily because I don’t really want to see China putting on a show. They can take the 2028 Olympics from LA as punishment, that’s fine with me too.
