They are great when fresh but even in Los Angeles and at otherwise great Mexican restaurants or trucks the sopes tend to be stale, like they’re not ordered enough to make fresh every day. I’d love to find a place around me where they’re reliable. 

Honestly, we know he’s an asshole but it would not surprise me if he has good reason to oppose this beyond not wanting poor people in his backyard. Real estate is a super-shady and cutthroat business. 

How often do you need to see movies in theaters to be officially called a “moviegoer?” Because if it’s once every three or four months like me and most people I know (pre-Covid of course, I haven’t gone at all in the last two years) I don’t think that 30% is in the cards.

If there was I doubt it would be cheaper than $5 for one month of Peacock Premium (and then canceling of course).

It’s really not worth seeking out. The Roku shows definitely are.

I think it’s fair to call her out to make a greater point about AAVE but growing up in Forest Hills isn’t really that damning. If I tell someone I’m watching Yellowjackets I don’t expect them to think I’m hip because I discovered some obscure major cable network TV show, I might actually want to find someone else who wants to talk Yellowjackets.
