This is so true. A recent study showed that men’s biggest fear meeting a woman from an internet site was that she would be fat. A woman’s biggest fear was that the guy would be a serial killer.

I’m real, I still use the site, and have met actual men in person. While I certainly didn’t chat with or meet thousands of guys, there were plenty to talk to. Most told me they’d met other women in person or had previous affairs with them. I don’t know why the data is so goofy, unless women’s profiles were protected…

You have it exactly right. I’m single, the single guys I know want sex, but they want it with every woman they can get it with. I’m happy to bang a guy who is scared his wife is going to find out, each time is more thrilling, he treats me like gold, and no arguments over whether or not he’ll wear a condom.

Granted, I live in a big, jaded city, but I agree that there is probably an error in the data somewhere. Most of the men I met told me they’d met other women from the site in person. If the data is right, those guys meeting one or more real women beat whatever the odds are for the lottery! I don’t know why the numbers…

LOL - I didn’t sleep with anywhere near 12,000, but have met quite a lot of men IRL. Quite a few told me they’d met other women from AM, so I know I’m not the only one.

I don’t know about success levels, but I’ve met quite a few men from the site in the time I’ve been on. And there are tons that I never met in person that I would message with.

Me too. Most of the men I met in-person over the last 1.5 years had either had affairs or met other women from the site. And it really didn’t sound like they were all talking about the same woman.

Being an active (still) AM user, I can tell you that I’ve probably messaged with 500(?) guys in the 1.5 years I’ve been on. Way more traffic than dating sites.
