Another great thing about Got To Give it Up: way less rape-y

YES. Thank you! We are so used to nothing belonging to us. We let everyone and anyone take our culture away and will hand them awards for it.

All the whites just.. go quiet and give their approval. Just like trump voters -men and the 53%.

I think this is a great idea. Trump and Kim Jong Un should play a game of basketball with Rodman as ref. They’re so out of shape, they’ll likely both have heart attacks, and both countries will be better off.

That’s two people.

A friend said she looks like a greasy seahorse.

The petty part of me just can’t stand him. I also hate when people use the Puerto Rican defense when way more than half of Peurto Ricans identified themselves as White on the census. Bruno Mars is mediocre in every, and his love of R&B and soul never seems organic. He, like many of the White artists who do the same

Man...I really did not want to talk about her looks, knowing that what she was going to say would be very problematic. But, I kept trying to figure it out. Is she still using Jam to hold down her baby hair? Is that the problem? Cause after a few hours it turns oily and can start to run. I just don’t understand. She

Her face is cracking because her melanin is trying to flee. She’s trying to hold it together but she should just give in to the saltine life

It’s complicated but I agree that we must have standards for our own. I just don’t care to hear condemnation from those who don’t hold their own accountable.

Look, cults manage to do good work sometimes. They pick up broken people and put them back together, people no one else wants to bother with. That doesn’t make them not a cult. It doesn’t make the shit they spew true or not dangerous.

There’s nothing original or interesting about his music. And that’s not a bad thing. It’s nice to listen to. However after I listen to one of his songs, I feel the need to abandon his music and go to the classics that clearly inspired him.

He really is just a wedding band version of everything that came before him. It’s not bad, exactly, but it’s certainly not deserving of the high praise and acclaim it receives.

I feel like Prince’s ghost would’ve been looking on, thusly.

Ugh. I am so, so sorry Brittany. Both for your losses. And that I could not read this whole thing for fear of bursting into ugly tears at my desk. I just want to say thank you for sharing and let you know that you are not alone.

In other words you have zero experience throughout your entire life being targeted by an armed class of individuals with a history of unethical, immora, and unjust actions against you, your family, and entire social network? Gotcha.

I’ll play.

Blackness encompasses an immeasurable index of idiosyncrasies, and its fluidity is what makes it worthy of endearment.

My problem with this whole discussion is that everything that she does that’s kind of ignorant or low brow is being billed as ‘being black’. Um, no. I don’t give a damn about respectability politics; she should be respected, but don’t start characterizing that stuff as default black behavior.

I don’t know when women are going to learn this lesson. If he’s your manager/accountant/toilet paper holder and you get pants feels you are free to do the pantsless dance and go. Pantless dance that good? Fire him and make him go get a job before you slip a ring on.
