"I'm not touching that, man."
"I'm not touching that, man."
The fact that Rick basically Captain America: Civil War's the fuck outta the Vindicators during a drunken rage while everyone else slept for 8 (?) hours makes this a top 10 episode alone.
“This can only end with one of us dead, and I have never died!” “That’ll be your downfall, Jaguar—not being open to new experiences.”
Injustice 2, Mass Effect Andromeda, and Horizon Zero Dawn for me. (Note: I haven't played several big alleged GOTY contenders like Automata or Persona. Prey…kinda annoys me when I think about how much I have left of it.)
At first, I thought Coulson turning into Ghost Rider was Robbie using a holomask or something, but NOPE, it was the real deal! Which somehow makes it even more awesome.
"I was away on business!" "LIAR! You were in prison!" "In prison on business!!!"
"She's Jessica Alba's stunt double."
God bless Josh Segarra and his constant "you wanna fuck with ME?" grin that he sports. It always feels like everyone's in immediate danger when he walks on screen.
This show is completely batshit, and the moment that crystallized it is when the grandma rolled out of the shadows of the room of her dead grandson
The baby prank killed me, honestly. Part of me knew it was a prank, but I was so caught up in the reactions of everyone that I bought into it like a damn sap. And Cece's reactions just made it even better.
That cheeseburger looked like three heart attacks rolled into one, and I want it.
I would gladly watch an episode of an Amethyst playing therapist to someone who went through a breakup.
"I have never seen anyone work so hard to get out of an orgy."
God, I was so here for Dahrk and Merlyn out-bitching each other like two exes forced to shop at the store for their kid's birthday party.
I don't think that's covered under your protection plan.
I can't tell you how excited I was when that came on screen.
SHOTGUN AXE FTW
I like James, but holy crap, he's so Australian that I half expect him to create a koala holding a pair of boomerangs completely out of fire.
While I do like what they've done so far, I also wouldn't mind if they just gave us single issues where we focused on each of the Robins while they were at school or doing their thing outside of the costume. Right now, we only really know about Duke and Riko, and even Duke doesn't really count since he's been around…
This week's We Are Robin was excellent, and a focus on just one of the Robins is something seriously needed after the last issue. It'll be interesting to see how this shakes out for the rest of the teens going forward.
