Genetics, girl. My (now 10yo) daughter is what you’d call a “spirited” child. At least she was until about age 5-6. Now she’s mostly awesome with a few meltdowns thrown in. She wore only dresses for almost 5 years. Last year I finally had to buy her jeans and I had no idea how one does that because I always bought her

I had to shut it off and take a break after the episode where he moved into her old house. The whole “why won’t you love me, Jessica? Don’t you see all the things I do for you, Jessica?” thing really did hit close to home. In many ways, the show helped me work through some of my own issues and I’m super grateful for

She did similar things for comics. COMIC SPOILERS AHEAD.

Um...Rosenberg’s reaction doesn't seem super promising. I know Bendis created the character but that has me a little worried.

This is one of those few cases where I think the TV/movie adapters should be consulted in the writing of the comic series. Having read some of the earlier Jessica Jones comics, I did not enjoy them as I did the show. The rape scenes seemed more exploitative than anything else.

This makes me glad I’m old and don’t shop at malls and have no idea what Zara is. Especially after that picture of those shredded dishrags that are apparently meant to be shirts.

LOVE. :)

Ballin’

I grew up with a kid who insisted on wearing a towel safety pinned to his shoulders as a cape, every day of grade 1. A 4 y o in my rec program used to wear about 10 layers of clothes (tights, jeans, shorts, several skirts, multiple shirts.) Kids are odd. She’ll have a new obsession soon enough ;) Plus your husband is

Ok that is the CUTEST thing I have ever seen! I am just dying at the little clip on earring. It’s really good to hear this is an issue that little boys go through too sometimes. I guess when I think about it though there’s a little boy in my daughters preschool class that HAS to wear a tie every day. I would say that

Emily is killing me. She’s a love.

Okay I’m just going to vent here:

I’ve never understood the “going nowhere” argument against treadmills or indoor cycling. It’s training. I don’t point and laugh at rowers on a machine because they’re not on an actual fucking boat. I mean why lift weights when you could be lifting something useful, like kegs of beer? Why fuck around with TRX straps

Must be nice, living somewhere where it's safe and warm enough to bike outside all year long.

Also a plot line on last season’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Loved it.

you still going nowhere. $34 a class?? seriously?? it’s like another cult of crossfit.

Season 2 would have been fine if they made Katrina a real character. I didn’t mind Katrina being around because she and Ichabod had issues that needed to be resolved, like her being a witch and never telling her husband. It could have been an intriguing plot, even keeping the whole Jeremy is evil storyline.

What happened with Felicity? She was my favorite character in season one. Then they made her a love interested and she became awful. Just awful.

I guess what you’re missing is why she wanted off the show in the first place.

Yes, this is exactly how I’ve felt with the death of every pet. The line “The freedom is welcome but not entirely comfortable, like a gift of clothing that I couldn’t otherwise afford.” so perfectly captures it. My method of grieving when I lose a pet is to embrace the little things lots of people take for granted but
