This is exactly the point I was going to make. I remember being 13 years old and chuckling at half of Miller’s Weekend Update jokes (usually while he was also chuckling or cackling at his own esoteric references). The other half were way too arcane for me to get :-)

His three-record run of Odelay, Mutations, and Midnite Vultures are still my favorites of his. I’ve always had a soft spot for Mutations. Once he started getting bummed out about life is when my interest started to wane (though I really like Sea Change).

Also a great season, which I just finished recently.

Yay to You Must Remember This! I just discovered it last year and have devoured several seasons in a short period. I think the best way to get someone hooked on this would be to start with the Charles Manson's Hollywood season.

Damn, do I love me some Timeless. Show a wonderful show, so sad it was cancelled but I loved the fact that they were able to wrap the show up the way they did.

No fucking shit!!!! Come on, AVClub...

Feck! I’m A Thirty-Year-Old Chazzwuzza!

Ohmygod.. how did I never make this connection?

Every ridiculous pro-guns argument makes me think of this...

No, he didn’t. William Daniels, however, did.

And that little boy...... grew up to be....

Yes! Apart from Laugh-In, that’s exactly my fondest memory of him, that fantastic performance of the COD audiobook. He did all of the voices so goddamn well.

1. Not gonna read all of this wordgarble reply.

Not according to the IMDB cast list....

Or "....And the rest."

Hehe.... Mounts...

*Brer Rabbit....

I don’t remember the year, but I also saw it in the theatre way back when, probably in ‘80. Also had an illustrated Disney book of Beer Rabbit tales.

That film deserves much more love and attention than it gets. It's like critics and audiences done gone smell-blind.
