Just....just all the more fascinated by the people who openly express a desire to “get into” PR as a career path. This is that guy’s job.

August 29th here. It was pretty amazing, especially in college, to be basically the first birthday to celebrate when everyone was back in school. It was particularly great to get that 21st birthday in early before everyone got tired of going out for them (which didn’t actually happen but still).

There’s a radio host here in Boston (Fred Toucher) who legitimately believes that that Detroit-Dallas game was fixed, and as time goes on, I’ve become more and more inclined to believe him. What a disgrace.

Totally agree. Hockey Twitter seems to love him through and through to the extent where it’s just part of their canon. “GOTTA LOVE THIS GUY, ON AND OFF THE ICE.” No, I don’t. No I fucking most certainly do not.

I dunno man, it HAS to be pretty rarified air. That’s like 15% of their games lost in the final minute, and 8% on the final play. Unless my math is wrong, I got them at 268 games played since 99 (including 1(!) playoff game).

It’s mind-bending. At what point is that just no longer fucking worth it? I don’t consider that sort of quixotic fan experience to be romantic or endearing, especially when you’re dumping good money into the coffers of some inept corporation that doesn’t give a shit about you even in the best of times.
