This reminds me of when it appears that many people who have Scarface posters have seemingly not watched the entire second half of the movie. Eastwood's character in Unforgiven can barely live with himself. Obviously not the point of the quote, but still.
"Best ever. Ever. Ever!"
I'm probably in the minority here, but I find this type of thing to be kinda fucked up.
Precisely.
We're in flying cars and have colonized Mars by 2015 in this alternate reality.
Agreed. For Barry to act like it's cut and dried in one direction or the other, regardless of whether you agree with him, just seems kinda disingenuous.
As time goes on I have a tough time thinking anyone from those eras could be called "the best" because I really believe that they would be non-factors in the modern NFL if placed in a time machine, whereas Brady or Manning or even Blake Bortles would throw for 400 yards against 1960s guys who had to leave the stadium…
Your point here is debatable, but I wanna take a sec to acknowledge your handle.
This is actually a great point.
I don't think it's Montana, just taking a guess at what Barry meant. My guess is that some people value an undefeated SB record? Even if you're throwing to Jerry Rice instead of waiver wire scraps it's somehow more impressive to make four instead of six?
My guess is Montana but the dismissive tone here is pretty off-putting.
....Kevin?
Yeah, man. Changed my life.
Just got into Malbecs a while back, they're not exactly easy to find for some reason but man are they tasty. Went on a wine website a few weeks ago and actually talked to one of the little chat box "wine experts." She told me "I always say that Malbecs are what Merlots WANT to be." That almost turned me off to them.
Side note, I once told an old roommate that I loved high school and had a blast there. He and his girlfriend immediately (and basically in unison) said to me that if I enjoyed high school, that meant I was a fucking asshole there. I have trouble following that logic. Thoughts?
FYI they'll give you a free tortilla on the side of a bowl, just gotta ask.
Did anyone besides Drew play a sport after high school?
How is this anything beyond speculation? Is this type of deviation curious? Sure, and I found the article interesting. But it doesn't PROVE anything. Why is the burden of proof for wrongdoing by the Patriots "well, we can't quite explain what happened here, so they must be cheating"?
Ah yes, more speculation with zero evidence of any actual wrongdoing. Thanks for proving my point for me.
