I thought I had made it pretty clear there that I understood how those actions were obstruction. My question is why is "refusing to cooperate" being lumped in with those things as obstruction of justice when refusing to cooperate could theoretically mean "exercising constitutional right to not incriminate self."

Serious question: I understand how destroying the security system, etc. is possibly (probably.) obstruction, but why is "refusing to cooperate" included there as being synonymous with "obstruction of justice"? Is "declining to incriminate self" now the same thing as openly hindering a police investigation too?

Rask was basically the Bruins' #1 goalie in 09-10 as well, starting 39 games, when Thomas was injured/ineffective for stretches.

Heeeeyyyy, wait a sec! His eyes are half-closed and he looks awful in this picture! OH DEADSPIN! The irony! The sheer irony of everything that you do!

In addition to CRACKIN' HIS MEL, at 0:37 this tubular brah treats the entire viewing public to visible grundle sweat.

Oh, I get it! His eyes are closed! Why, when a picture of a public figure is shown, that's not what one expects at all! Deadspin, you truly march to the beat of your own wacky and ironic drummer!

Pominville is gone...

Jesus. Did this get deflected? If not, nice snipe, Orpik! Good things happen when you put the puck on the MVP's face

I didn't mention anything about the other clips, but if I were this videographer, I might lead off with something different. I'm not saying the Bruins don't embellish, because like all teams, they probably do to some extent.

Well, as a Bruins fan I am somewhat biased, but during that first hit in the video, Alexei Emelin broke his stick on Seguin's ribs and sent him down the tunnel, but why let the facts interfere with such an IRONIC video on Deadspin?

Thank you, I'll be sure to investigate and I do think Bryce Canyon will probably be the highlight of the trip. I'll be completing a 6 hour drive when I get there and I'm hoping to minimize hotels to a night or two (grad student) so hopefully I can see a good chunk of this. Really looking forward to it.

Utah DUAN:

Anyone else see the Erik Karlsson injury? Scary stuff. I just cannot wait until Matt Cooke gets his. He is a disgrace to the game and a risk to every other single player every time he steps onto the ice.

Couldn't comment on rates or anything, but rugby players certainly suffer concussions (myself included). Just seems like a way to use the rule book to try and regulate intent, which I think could be beneficial. Would take away a lot of this "split-second decision" narrative out of the debate, since flinging your head

Often had the thought that the NFL's injury problem would be greatly reduced if the same rules regarding wrapping were instituted. In rugby union you have to at least make an attempt to wrap. Would be an interesting experiment at least, if NFL players knew they couldn't deliver a knockout blow with virtually no risk

Whatever happened to that kid who picked Bama last year as his mother second-guessed his decision on live TV? I think she wanted him to go to LSU?

FWIW, this shit caused me to unfollow Norm Macdonald. He was good on Twitter too, since you can't mumble incoherently there, nor make a smug "didja get that one?" face after a joke.

Am I...am I missing something? I get how IRONIC this site can be but I think I missed this one.

Anybody know who on God's green Earth would retweet ESPN? "We got a ballgame!" gets like 700 retweets. Who ARE these people?
