Holy shit, is this true? Please tell me this is true.
Bless you, Katie Rife. This is what we needed after that jagoff’s essay.
We need more Dangerboat.
“They’ll file your file under where the fuck is that fucking file” is my favorite line of the season. I also enjoyed the brief callback to Ramses being from Minnesota during the interrogation when he mentions his mother’s stress over a hot dish competition.
That’s what I kept thinking of. In particular, I thought of Hank’s line, “She stole my Destiny!” after Molotov Cocktease stole the strength suit when Miss Lint electrocutes Arthur and steals the suit.
This is the theory I’m working with.
I agree that a lot of shows end up suffering from the binge model. I also talked with a friend who’s a film critic about how Amazon’s strategy differs so wildly from Netflix’s strategy (which is something we talked about after Christopher Nolan criticized Netflix). Netflix releases original movies at the same time as…
I’m also assuming the payoff with the VLM is the second half of the season and it also ties into what we find out about the suit in the sixth episode when Overkill calls Arthur to just yell at him.
Dangerboat, Overkill’s boat, is voiced by Alan Tudyk, who I thought brought juuuuuust the right amount of bitchiness to that voice part.
It’s brilliant, Cookie. You should check it out.
I think it’s part of what Taylor Swift and her team intended, but I definitely watched this video just so I would know what everyone would be talking about. I liked the zombie/graveyard sequence and I honestly forgot about everything else. And the cynic in me thinks Taylor Swift knows everyone will be talking about…
Perfect avatar/username/comment synergy.
Having just finished rewatching this show (already), I think this theory pans out, especially after various things said in Episode 6.
The show pages are screwed up for all of the TV Club shows, which actually is my least favorite part of the Kinja switch.
I genuinely loved how enthusiastic he was for the gifts for someone he’s barely met.
I’m already rewatching this, but on the first viewing I thought for some reason Tinfoil Kevin was Jurgen. As pitch-perfect as the casting is for this show, I do think a lot of the heavy bearded guys on this show kind of blur together.
