Ugh, watching this interview start to finish was just cringe inducing. I find that political discussions/interviews elicit more incoherent yelling on my part than sports games. Which, as a NJ resident, says a lot.

538 put out an interesting article over the weekend that showed VP picks, on average, come with a ~2% bump in the vote for their state. Most polls have Clinton winning VA by about 2% right now, so 4% would be far more comforting.

I am going to watch it, but I was definitely disappointed in the super dark direction they’re heading. What I loved about the first 3 seasons (I’m ignoring the the last special - I refuse to believe it happened) was the primarily light-hearted fun injected into the episodes. This seems to very much be following the

I dunno, my parents had a pool when I was growing up and the best part of the summer was when we were allowed to choose 1 pool float each. Mind you, they were never this... pop-art-y, more like a spiral, or a ball, or a big circle.... but man. Even as an adult I still enjoy a nice pool float.

I believe his response to that was, almost verbatim, “I don’t care”.

Every damn day.

For a solid 2 weeks early in my pregnancy all I wanted was effing avocado toast with salt, banana slices, and red pepper flakes. It was the best 2 weeks ever.

Ohhhhh yeah. Definitely Juliet! Hahaha

Lindsay Lohan is apparently BFFs with one of the women of Ladies of London (literally the only “reality” show that I watch and to which I am 100% addicted). So she’s been showing up in LoL’s instagrams a bunch. It was really jarring at first. Now, I’m almost half-hoping she’s featured every once in awhile in Season 3.

Nice! Ours were “Living After Midnight” and “Thunderstruck”, respectively. Our band was probably the most excited about those choices, because I’m sure they’ve played crap like Black Eyed Peas “Tonight’s Gonna Be a Good Night” ad nauseum.

While our official first dance was Etta James, our “entrance” music was Judas Priest, and our wedding party came in to AC/DC. I feel like we struck the right balance.

Is the rest of the reception likely to be worth the extra time? I.E., good food, good music, free booze? If not, nope. Peace out guilt-free.

Truth. So did we. It’s a classic, dude. The rest of that shit, though? Folks should absolutely be ashamed. ESPECIALLY Lonestar. Ugh, excuse me while I throw up in my mouth a little bit.

I don’t think I would have survived. Even with distraction I had to drink so much that night that my sister in laws bestowed upon me my drinking name.

Yeah, I was much more of a ceremony under a willow tree kind of gal, but it meant a lot to GhostofGPaMazur that we get married in a Catholic church, and I just didn’t care that much.

Psh, your diocese sucks! We only had to attend two 1-day PreCana classes. In fact, that’s 1 day extra from the requirements of all other dioceses in NJ. And we were even registered with the church that married us!

Bernie didn’t publicly declare as a Dem until November. These emails predate that by almost 6 months. Next.

So much truth. Ugh.

I’m not saying only wealthy white kids do well. There are plenty of kids that do well because they’re incredibly intelligent and just know everything. But being smart, reading a lot, and thinking quickly, while helpful, will not guarantee a good score. Prep courses exist because they teach how to take the test, and

For the first half of this headline I was all “NoOOOOooooOOoooooo” but the second half had me all “YASQWEEN”.
