From a women’s health perspective, Sanders and Clinton are virtually running on the same platform. Their Senate voting record is also the same when it comes to women’s health issues. I would even argue that Clinton has put far more emphasis on this topic than Sanders during the election cycle so far, whose primary

This is my thought as well. I just don’t get the hate. Bernie aligns more to my progressive sensitivities, but Clinton is not a terrible alternative if that’s how the cards shake out. Sometimes I feel like the level of vitriol some Sanders supporters have for Clinton comes close to the Trump supporters’ vitriol of...

Whoops - yes! I’m only halfway through myself :)

Right?! That left me flabbergasted. If they want to argue that he was a danger to be let out because of the way prison changed him, well, that was your damn fault to begin with!

I agree - I think the medium and the packaging makes a big difference. In MaM, the filmmakers don’t add any of their own commentary, it’s all clips gathered during filmmaking. Sarah Koenig, conversely, was the mouthpiece translating all of the evidence (well, most, as she also left out some evidence in Serial) for us.

Probably doesn’t help that 20 of his staff members quit last week.

I think it was pretty clear his public defender was in collusion with the prosecution.

I disagree. I am only halfway through the documentary, but to me it’s quite clear that the documentary was not made to provde Avery’s innocennce; rather, it was made to shine a light on the disgusting flaws in this particular case that should not have resulted in a conviction, and the similar flaws on a national scale.

Yep, I think so, too. Unfortunately, that well is practically empty. if the state hadn’t put the brakes on his restitution for 18 years in jail when he was arrested the 2nd time, they could’ve held a larger sum of money in escrow and perhaps Theresa’s family would have had some kind of compensation.

This is the evidence that was left out of the documentary on which the prosecution hung their case. It’s good evidence, but the issues that the defense raised, covered in the documentary, absolutely provide reasonable doubt in my opinion.

I’m only 4 episodes in, but that’s exactly my thought on this (not dissimilar from my point of view on the Adnan Syed case). It’s totally possible that Sean committed the murder... but the holes of reasonable doubt on this one are so massive you could drive a truck through them. If the prosecution can’t do its job

I think I was most impressed at how engaging the movie was, despite the fact that maybe 80% of the run time is just Matt Damon alone. I enjoyed it way more than I expected to, and would deifnitely watch it agian. Is it Oscar worth? Naah. But it’s a super fun film.

Those sound delightful. I’m really sold on proper jammies. Last night I cleared half of my PJ drawer out for donation because I also plan to buy another set or two in 2016.

I’ve had mine picked out for weeks. To be fair, GPaMazur and I are having 2 couples over to our (soon to be annual) sparkle sweatpants and pajama NYE event. So... the outfit is pretty much outlined in the name.

On a tangent - I, too, have recently invested in my first pair of proper jammies and am struggling to ever take them off. Mine are white with black polkadots, black piping, and a smattering of red poppies all over. How about yours?

I know a lot of kids (younger Millennials, specifically a bunch of kids who I used to be my campers when I worked as a camp counselor a decade ago) who, eitehr through bad luck, bad decisions, lesser means in terms of family and money, or a combination of all of the above who feel this way. I get the sense based on

I am always so depressed when these protestors end up with a large percentage of young people in them. I get why... but damned if it isn’t depressing.

No way Phasma is dead. If they don’t die on screen, they’re not dead. She’ll be back, and in larger numbers (...of screen time)...! in episode VIII. I can’t wait.

I figured it had to be something like that, or a contract restriction, etc. I know the hurdle to swap vendors can be high, but with a recurring security issue like this, it makes sense that having no other option is the explanation. Thanks!

Have they said definitively that it would be weeks? I thought it was just until the Sanders campaign provided evidence that they had deleted all of teh data?
