Why are the only two comedy specials we get now are either somebody punching down with the most offensive shit possible or someone telling a unfunny story about a horrible experience they had? I guess I’m a comedy centrist in that I want to laugh but not at the expense of a marginalized group.

Getting fired from SNL is one of the best career moves you can make. Look what it did for Jenny Slate. Chris Parnell was fired twice and he’s in every cartoon and a guest star on every TV comedy.

Being part of what is basically Christian Scientology and thinking a fun prank on the set of Parks & Rec was exposing his genitals to the cast and crew really sours you on a guy. It ain’t rocket science.
