“I hope you’re never in the fucking position I’m in.”

That position being, refusing to protect yourself and others from a deadly pandemic, at the expense of your career, and then acting like YOU’RE the victim?

Thankfully, I will never be in the fucking position you’re in.

I’ll be curious to see how Chopper looks

I punted that show at some point.  I think it was the episode where Ensign Ro started vibrating.  It seemed like it was descending into nonsense.

Yeah, that ticking clock shit was so gross. Harry Knowles of Ain’t It Cool News had one for Hayden Panettierre during the first season of Heroes; he also wrote a super gross article where he theorized that because her character healed herself no matter what, her hymen would grow back after each sexual encounter and

The Kinja sites used to be a vehicle that allowed those of us with no resources to publish as well.  But then that ability was taken away.

Gamera is really neat.  He is filled with turtle meat.

I don’t understand this show and refuse to find out anything about it. Thanks for reading everybody

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah! I think Disney left out a film.

So everybody in the US is full of shit?

When they first announced it, I remember saying; “of all the anime they could realistically adapt, One Piece is the worst choice due to how wacky it is and it is destined for failure.”

I definitely ate my words because they made the best choice by actually leaning into the wackiness and embracing it and they knocked it

As much as I liked One Piece Live Action, I would rather wait for the strike to settle positively for the actors.

In an additional bit of good luck, after finding the treasure Bore was able to violently kill a whole platoon of Nazis on his way home.

I’m not a Star Trek fan at all (barring ‘Voyage Home,’ which I adore) and I love it!

Absolutely. I’m barely a casual fan and I enjoy it plenty. The start is a bit rough as it takes some time for the characters to find their footing, but it’s worth the watch, regardless.

Yeah, it’s the all-fangled certainty of atheists that make them intolerable. Like...you don’t know anything more than the rest of us. Everybody is agnostic whether they want to be or not. Hardcore atheists tend to be misogynists also, like libertarians.

And kind of weird Nicholas Cage was in it as the guy Peggy got married to. Yes, I get that he’s his nephew, but it wasn’t really a typical “Nicholas Cage” role (not that he really had a type then I suppose).

This should be the real take away.

It’s still one of the funniest sitcoms ever, but the show is very much a product of the Obama years. There’s a “yes we can” vibe to it that didn’t feel unusual back then but now feels...I don’t wanna say naive but...aspirational?

Let’s hope they don’t forget the inexhaustible labor force of robots this time.

As part of the streamer’s cost-saving “content removal plan,” Deadline reports Disney+ is no longer moving forward with its Captain Nemo TV series, Nautilus, despite having finished filming its first season.
