I think the question is kinda wrong. I work at a record store in Denver. We sell CD's and vinyl. Nobody buys CD's anymore. But vinyl record sales are through the roof the past five or six years. As for downloads, I neither know nor care. But people are definitely buying music these days - just not on CD.
