Let me walk you through VW’s lineup.........

the proportions of this feel a little off for a sedan. Is it kind of like the Polsestar 2? Where its a weird taller sedan that’s kid of like a crossover?

This is a pretty dumb take. It’s a version of the usual Jalopnik complaint (because you gotta continuously generate content, I guess) conflating what you or I think is a cool, or collectible car with what a carmaker can build that will sell in 2022.

People here bitch about cars not having real names, so Acura went back to Integra for the entry model instead of ILX and... it’s wrong? I think your nostalgia brain is making everyone crazy. Plus it’s just a name, car names don’t have some magical meaning or whatever. Who cares.

Literally kind of what they’ve been doing since inception, so what were you expecting? The Integra is exactly what you’d expect: more features, luxury stuff, options above the Civic with the Civic’s current best engine and an automatic options. The Type S will be the civilized (and hopefully AWD) version of the Type R

I don’t think the GR Corolla should be compared to the Integra.  They appear to serve completely different purposes.

yeah not sure how model X doors block anything when they go up and out unless the drop off is under some kind of very short awning...

Read the linked article - he’s a more interesting person than for simply falling through a hole.

Everyone that hated on SUVs back then now own one.

It is not ironic at all. JLR and BMW have multiple engineering development agreements in place.

“THIS ISN’T EVEN A REAL TREE!!! DID YOU KNOW THAT! WHAT A GARBAGE ATTACTION!”

I thought the fake water was hokey, but worse was the boats were small. I mean, I get it, they are limited to what can be brought in on a truck, but the cool part of the Monaco boats is that they are so obnoxiously large; those yachts have helipads, pools, jacuzzis, chefs, multiple decks... you know, they are places

Sometimes it’s better to just go ahead and google something rather than comment.

An engineering team proving that SRI’s reliably increase power

This is a bad take. Short Ram Air intakes are probably the MOST effective cheap basic upgrade that measurably does something. They reliably add 5-12 HP and increase gas mileage at the same time.

When its required to in order to sell cars?

I had an Integra GS-R in my mid-20s. It was a great car and started me on the journey to “enthusiast.”

But it is a hatchback (liftback), no?

Whatever Type S/R variant there is will probably be manual-only, same as the old Integras and also the Civic SI and Type R. People who were around in the 90s will remember that most Integras were LS sedans with an automatic (even the GSR was comparatively pretty rare). I’m not disappointed that the base spec of the

I feel like these option packages are akin to the 90s/00s “outdoor clothing” trim fad.
