Seems like they missed out on a fun joke by not also casting Rebecca Romijin as Nurse Chapel, and just never drawing attention to it.

Crisis of Infinite Karens, which actually sounds like a very different sort of movie, and one that I’d gladly hatewatch. 

They really should have abandoned the Picard series and given Seven and the Rangers their own show. Or just Seven of Nine. She was far and away the best, most interesting part of season 1.

It might not be The Mandalorian that shows up but maybe another Mandalorian for hire.

I can’t imagine anyone watching this episode who didn’t hear that sting and immediately put the context clues together.

I really like the route they’re going with Zora. It’s too easy too fall into tropes of malicious or alien emergent AI so it’s nice to see one that is relatable, learning from others, and becoming a product of its environment and interactions. 

“Yeoh-ni-verse” flows a bit better phonetically, but that’s just my opinion.

I gotta think it has transporters, but none of the characters (sans Janeway) are likely aware of transporters. And since the technology hadn’t been introduced to them yet, the show probably didn’t want to spring it on its younger viewers without explanation either.
