Can we dumb this down enough for a SyFy Movie?

??? I don't get the reference.

So do they account for two fingered hunt-and-peck typers (I wouldn't call myself a typist) like me?

So that's what the thing in the bottom of my junk drawer is. That would explain why so many guys with mad martial arts skills keep breaking into my place. I wonder what I can get for it on eBay?

This looks like a cross of Grimm with Law and Order U.K.

But they didn't. Did the button get pushed? Is Kate Beckinsale carrying Chewbacca's love child? I have to know!

Critical thinking? Are you suggesting we shouldn't just accept what authority figures tell us? Or even worse, question those who sound like they know what they're talking about? That's just crazy talk!

On a side note, Monte Markham (Jones' chief henchman) is looking pretty spry for a man in his mid 70s.

I'm going to Vegas this weekend. I've got to find this place.

As I mentioned on the Odeck, I dozed off 10-15 minutes in and woke up to catch the last 8-10 minutes (after the last commercial break). It seemed like I didn't miss much in between. That's probably not a good sign for the show.

I barely made it through the first movie and haven't seen the sequels. If I fast forward through the human-only parts (the worst part of the first movie) will the sequels be watchable and make sense (at least as much sense as a Bay movie can make)?

For others it's one that calls for intense cynicism.

Yes I have. Take out the mystic element and it's basically seven fighters coming together.

This seems more of a variation of the Seven Samurai/Magnificent Seven story than Snow White to me.

Beginning of the End scared the crap out of me when I was a little boy watching it on TV in the 1960s. I blame that movie for my ongoing fear of insects.

Oh the guards are definitely going to be in seclusion because of the Alcatraz Secret. I wouldn't use them as guards again because they're compromised - Guy was on a mission for the time-nappers after all. I'm sure Hauser will try to turn him but until then Guy is considered an agent of the time-nappers and not to be

If I remember correctly his picture was labeled Captured at the end so they're holding him, presumably separate from the inmates. His living condition is probably better than the inmates but they still don't want someone out of their time running around free and revealing the Secret Of Alcatraz.

The interaction between Fauxlivia and Walter made me wonder if instead of seducing Peter, in this timeline she seduced Walter (sorry, no amount of brain bleach will get that image out of your head).

I must not be one of the cool kids since I had no idea what 1337 haX0r was until I looked it up. On the other hand, I knew immediately what Finch meant by a honeypot even though I had never heard the term used in a computer context before.
