I had managed to purge all memory that this movie even existed. Thanks for bringing it all back.

Shame on you. The original Conan (and a few other Arnold movies) is an essential part of the Real Man's Movie Collection.

Bond: You expect me to flush?

I don't know who Sheldon Cooper is or what his opinion is so could you elaborate?

Without paying to read the original article it's hard to tell what he means by "memory-dampening drugs" as opposed to "memory erasing drugs." I can't tell if he's just using it as a euphemism or not.

I agree there are cases when this would be a legitimate choice when a memory is particularly debilitating. But we shouldn't be wiping memories just because they're unpleasant.

I never thought I would be quoting from Star Trek V but I agree with Kirk's speech:

Probably, it's a pretty old school brand that my parents smoked (and I'm in my 40s so we're talking about 30+ years ago when they smoked these).

For those who didn't get Pete's joke, this is his uncle Pall Mall.

I see the part about drinking but where's the part that says you need to drink with friends. Is the headline misleading? Can I continue to do my moderate drinking alone?

The football is still a running gag. I've seen Pete throw it at least once recently.

WTF! This is real? I thought this was one of those sponsored posts for a CW or ABC Family show until I actually read it. Are you sure this isn't some sort of viral campaign for Exorcist Girl, coming soon to the CW?

Of course Claudia is a snarky elf. What else would she be?

Hmm. Good choices.

Swarmanoid? You're 3/4 of the way to a SyFy movie. You just need a hottie woman scientist and maybe Bruce Boxleitner or John Rhys-Davies.

That's what I was thinking. Cool, but we are so screwed when the robot uprising comes.

Despite my issues with the study (articulated by plenty of other commenters so I won't repeat them) I'm going to work the wonderfully elegant phrase "increased frequency of mate choice" into a conversation.

That's what's really bugging me about the modules' use. There's no nuance about it.

That episode reminded me of a bad episode of 24, including the torture of a main character. I still dislike Rex so much that I was rooting for Colin Maloney even though it was obvious he was going to have a bad end.
