I don't think Steve is one of the bad guys. I do think the writers are setting up Claudia to be devastated when Something Bad (probably death) happens to him, though.

I don't get why Alphas is doing a crossover with Warehouse 13 (and by extension also putting it in the same universe as Eureka) at least it's with one of the least wacky characters.

Since Steve is fitting in so well and bonding with Claudia, it's obvious Something Bad is going to happen that will affect Claudia probably much the way H.G.'s actions affected Myka.

Sorry, I just don't buy your reverse psychology idea. Considering how protective Tom is of his kids, I don't think he really wanted his son hanging around with a violent biker that he didn't trust.

I agree it feels like the show is being stretched out to last ten episodes.
