Re: Untitled Alien Spaceship Movie

Wow. This would be a neat wrinkle to add to a Fantastic Voyage remake. The miniaturized ship has to battle enemy nanorobots wrapped in red blood cell membranes.

Yeah, when it started the "MTV cops" idea was still a fresh idea (but then MTV was still a fresh idea and actually showed music videos). Unfortunately the show's success killed it and it turned into a parody of itself.

@bob_d: The premise was highly improbable but I didn't think it rose to the level of sci-fi. But the line is fuzzy so different people see it differently.

@RandomArt: I don't remember it being marketed as fantasy (other then the opponents being mysterious) but I'm not saying you're wrong. I thought it was a good action movie but of course it's a matter of personal tastes.

The 13th Warrior is a sci-fi film? I must have missed that part.

So from the trailer I get talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, Keira Knightley getting spanked, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk.

From the article: "Oh,and since he's a racist and a rapist, I don't think we really need to get invested in his character."

First off, "Maggie, one of Pope's men "??? I'm pretty sure Maggie was a woman. But I could be wrong.

I'm thinking early 70s too because I think I actually saw this on TV when I was a kid back then.

The watchmen watch each other. The one thing a watchman is afraid of is another watchman. The system works as long as everyone is a little paranoid of everyone else.

Between this and and the last post about surveillance cues I'm feeling the urge to put up another layer of tin foil on the walls of the Ghost lair. After I use some needle nosed pliers to get that chip out of my nose.

*looks at picture above*

So having a picture of Big Brother always visible really does work.

Since we can't perceive a fourth spatial dimension obviously I can neither prove or disprove any of it. That's why it's theoretical physics.

@Lawdog and everyone else:

I'm well aware of the Allies' various deception and psychological operations against the Germans. I just need to hear more about this show before I get excited about it.

"a motley group of conmen and magicians who use their skills at deception to battle Hitler and his forces during WWII."

Now playing

@GizmoTron9000: I'll let Carl Sagan explain.
