Star Wars is science fantasy, not realistic/hard science fiction like Star Trek. Star Wars has never been about being“sci-fi that tried to think its way through problems using future tech and some smarts” so why should it start trying to be that now?

Serious questions, but does representation for non-North American people not matter? Betsy Braddock is the only Brit in the X-books right now and one of the very few British superheroes in regular publication in both Marvel and DC. Should we be so quick to dismiss her?
