As a beer itself I have no problem with Bud. It's a relatively average lager made to be very drinkable. I'm not a fan but there is a place for beers like this.

Obviously a Nexus device is your best bet for having the newest version of android the fastest as the updates come directly from Google. Other than that Moto seems to do a pretty good job updating quickly and Samsung claims they are makig it a priority (we'll see how quickly the GS2 lines gets ICS). In general most

It's almost impossible to brick an android device as there is pretty much always a way to return to stock. That being said, rom and kernel flashing is not for noobs and technically voids your warranty so read up and make sure you're comfortable with some light hacking before messing around.

"the new RAZR is worthy of its inherited name name"

Sense is gonna muck up a much refined ICS. The stock ICS and sense design cues don't seem like they will blend together well. There was a time when sense was the bees knees of android UI's but that is long gone. While I'm not a fan of any of the OEM UI's anymore, blur and touchwiz have actually become lighter over

Yes, but you need cable card access to do so. This falls on the cable companies who are generally resistant from supporting cable cards.

The problem is I still have to use that piece of crap Scientific Atlantic cable box and it's awful UI. Unless this is cable card ready or Apple works out deals with the major cable providers, this is going to greatly screw up the Apple experience. And I don't want any of that IR blaster crap like Google TV tried

They need to hire some new software engineers over there. I can't believe they are having such a difficult time getting all of their BES stuff working on QNX. This deosn't make me very optimistic for their BBX phones. If I had to guess, they're going to be pretty buggy when they finally see the light of day.

This was not meant to be taken seriously.

Everyone with one of these on their door get ready to pay Apple royalties.

I assume this will run some variant of iOS and play games, apps, have siri, and all that kind of stuff. One issue I see with this is that hardware that runs iOS changes pretty dramatically every few years. They need to build these to be very forward thinking. TVs are big ticket items you don't replace every couple

You realize that Penn and Teller are illusionists/magicians/entertainers and not scientists?

This is my next had a great interview with Matias Duarte (lead designer of android and formerly of WebOS) and he spoke a lot about the platform evolving and how he felt it still had a ways to go. With ICS, Android really seems to be focusing on providing a much better and more pleasing user experience. It was a bit

Google is making a Tricorder app so you can tell if the atmosphere on an alien planet can support human life.

Jerk Chicken

The hardware looks amazing. It's actually making me consider this over the Nexus to be announced later, but then I remember blur.

Because they prefer profit.

I can't believe Moto is already replacing the Bionic. That device was just a mess of endless delays.

Beauty over durability. Apple knows people are more likely to desire the former and this way they can also sell things like screen replacements and extra apple care.
