@blyan is nominal too?: It's an android widget, there are hundreds of clock and weather widgets in the marketplace with all kinds of themes. You can easily remove and replace it.

@TheKennedy: Definitely not the Droid Pro, the Droid 2 global is superior in just about every way unless you must have a blackberry style phone. If you dont need a keyboard the Droid X and Samsung Fascinate are real nice.

@charlesfro: In NYC the promo price for all three is $99, and for just tv+internet is $117. The additional phone fees/taxes don't make up the $18 difference. Craziness.

@abates25: The hummingbird A8 is currently the best cpu/gpu in any phone available on the market. The galaxy s has very powerful hardware. But your right in that this hardware has been available on other phones for months and we will soon see dual core cpus.

@jd: All the other Galaxy S phones are easily rooted and have unlocked bootloaders. I'd expect no different from a dev phone.

Online is generally the way to go. If you do buy in store, remember never buy the cables they try and push on you. Monoprice.com is likely 1000% cheaper for the same high quality cable (not an exaggeration).

@madisomi?: Having owned both a DX and a Fascinate, I can tell you that galaxy s phones smoke the DX even though they are still on 2.1. The hummingbird is currently the best cpu/gpu in any mobile device currently available, and SAMOLED screens are very nice. The DX is definitely build much better and gets better…
