And daughter rape is a fair tradeoff? (Besides, he will accomplish none of those.)

No. Besides, Noah Cross now seems like an director avatar for him.

Threaten a Russian invasion, that usually works.

Trump: "It can be both!"

Trump does that, he'll suffer his fatal heart attack early. (I'm not joking; I'm half expecting him to be dead by the end of next year. He's a fat 70 year old who loves junk food. The job will kill him.)

Wait till you see the explosion we make!

I dunno, that defense didn't work for Sandusky.

He didn't know how to row.

Probably have to be sandpeople. If Jabba learned about Obi-Wan, he'd sell him out to Vader in a heartbeat.

"Save the Rebellion! And pay my tab while you're at it."

This one has promise. McGregor with a good director sounds worth trying.

Naboo has plans to shoot on sight if he returns.

Frankly, doing a solo Obi-Wan movie sounds like a no-brainer. The fanbase likes it, the lead likes it, the lead actor is widely considered to be one of the best things about the prequels and the creative possibilities are endless, since you've got two decades of time between III and IV to set it in. I doubt Obi-Wan

I've never gotten the impession King outright hates the Kubrick "Shining", just disappointed that there's little of his original vision in it.

In most ways, it's not nearly as good, but Weber's Jack is far more in line with King's version than Kubrick's.

The only downside is that Charles Dance is not part of this shared universe now. It is poorer for that.

Oh yes. And John Hannah as her brother was highly amusing.

Second one was also fun; third was kinda "why bother" even with Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh.

I've never been much interested in the show, but that scene where Jess tells Rory to get her shit together is pretty awesome and must have been quite cathartic for the Rory haters.

Why didn't you say so before?
