That’s the goal! The Atlantic side is a whole different ball of wax. People over there are just NY’ers trying to Instagram their “best life”.  The Gulf side is where it’s at for hassle-free. 

I mean you can get used to the heat, but it’s not exactly pleasant. It is amusing to compare toenails because everyone wears sandals, even on construction sites.

It’s all relative. Their educational system is very good, and way better than the “West”. It is more than possible to live a great life in China, even if it doesn’t jibe with your values.

What do you stand to gain by complaining that their cost-of-living is substantially cheaper? Sure, you might not get YouTubeTV or some other stuff, but is that really a loss? A good product is a good product.

I saw the header pic and immediately had to know where it was from. Florida is always the answer, and I live here. That’s a Florida truck at a Florida price. I’m sometimes in awe that I chose this place. It is funny, though.

I always tip whatever is a gallon of gas, which seems equitable. They end up making a dollar a minute. Not like it’s any of your business. It’s theirs, apparently.

Well, I have a lot of thoughts on that. I didn’t really want to get into them here. It’s not the proper format, although there seems to be intelligent people here. I have no answer as to why that knucklehead opinion is a thing, other than the obvious discord is the easiest way. I feel sorry for most of them.

It’s kinda insane that people choose to live their lives dwelling on the worst parts of it. I’ll never get that mentality, no matter how old I get.

I tried to find a part of this comment where I could nod my head in agreement. It didn’t happen. I’m not disregarding inequality in their work parameters. They are kinda shitty. That doesn’t mean anyone has to do it.

Are you saying the TMS is news, and not a collective of amusing incoherent ramblings of a few disillusioned writers? There are a gazillion ways to absorb the same factual content that is posted on this website. TMS is the automotive equivalent of The Onion, except without the tongue or the cheek. It’s hilarious.
