Ha, I just lowered my plan from unlimited data to limited like two weeks ago. Should save me about $50 (at t-mobile). Bill will go down even more in October when my EIP is done.

This is my concern. I’ve only tried it with Chase but they have said they can’t lower my rate at all. What am I supposed to do? With the maximum rate unable to be lowered the card is useless to me, save boosting my total credit..

Is there some sort of trick to doing this? I've only tried with Chase since I have several of their cards, but they always refuse to lower it. I called multiple times to get different people. Maybe I should just try with my other cards like Capital One or Amex?
