There’s a problem with Inslee though. I live in Seattle, and he’s totally disconnected from the entire state. I live in West Seattle and I’m very familiar with the current shitshow that is the Seattle housing market. Between those two listings, I actually find the $650k price more egregious.

My takeaway from this is investigation: The NBA is so dysfunctional, they are going to investigate and (probably not) punish all 32 teams now so they don’t have to punish one of the premier teams individually in the future. (Looking at you L.A./Boston/Golden State/Brooklyn)

Apologies if this has been asked before, but why is crowd funding movies a thing? Is this their way of saying, “I’m making this for the real fans” or are they really unable to fund it? They should be able to get a loan, borrow from a friend, or just check for spare millions between their couch cushions.

All I’m taking away from all of this is that even in the U.S. mecca of technology and innovation, a dumb schlub like this guy can still rob them blind with the most basic of tools...and they never even knew it happened.

I’ve trained bjj for a long time as well and had never heard of it. So just out of curiosity, I did a quick search. Apparently it’s a thing, but it seem incredibly absurd to even consider during a fight. It looks like something Napoleon Dynamite would try to do. 

IMHO, being on your hands and knees in an MMA fight is the worst position to be in that isn’t in contact with the opponent. She’s 100% unaware while she’s there. This isn’t the awareness, defensive position, or reaction time of a fighter who is/able to protect themself.

Some wouldn’t even be allowed to start to begin with. lol

This was a general example not intended as a specific, literal incident to discuss.
