@The MSJ: You're rocking some rough chuckles these days, MSJ.

IT'S BEAUTIFUL.

As long as it looks like that big glass X in the picture, I'll be happy.

NO LIES - THEY CREATED MUSIC.

Oh shut up and have a laugh.

Someone has opened the gates of cynicism! Close them quickly, lest the negative comments destroy us all.

I think we're discussing different points here, almost. Are you trying to say that a game where failure in a task retards progression isn't harder to finish than a game that carries on regardless?

I honestly agree that having distinct, rich narratives in games is a good thing - and of course a game with a deep vein of emotion is going to resonate with the player on a much more satisfying level.

What I think you're missing here is that Gears or War, any other mainstream action title or even Monkey Island (?) have a real penalty for failure; non-progression in the storyline. If you can't complete a particularly tough level in Gears of War, or figure out a puzzle in Monkey Island - you're not going to complete

Don't be silly.

I had put up a lengthy post on this topic in the #speakup section a few days ago - but what it pretty much boiled down to was:

That is both cool and heartbreaking at the same time. Favourite console and controller, hands down.

On you go then - I expect to see my hometown of Coatbridge, near Glasgow Scotland to be fully Zelda-fied within the half hour.

YOU'RE fun!

Jesus, this is just a fun picture - the result of two guys working on a little project together. Comments like: THIS COULD HAVE BEEN DONE QUICKER BY A PROGRAMMER and WHY IS THIS IMPRESSIVE just depress me. Nobody is saying that it's high art, and nobody knows the process that went into its creation or their level of

@HitBit: He's saying that if you're considering a long journey - turn off the 3D - while it's not necessary to enjoy the 3DS, it's still a big part of the overall experience.

'At last' indeed. The reason I bought my PS3 in the first place is on the horizon, folks. Can get a whoop-whoop?

Despite never having them fully 'click' with me - I'm always interested in seeing what Suda 51's next game will be. Here's looking forward to the parental outrage in the glorification of alcohol abuse. That said, if it sells as many copies as Killer 7; nobody is likely to notice.

From Series 3 onwards, there's little bubbles in the packet at the bottom near the bar-code that you can use to discern the type of figure.
