That's not quite true. DCU Online does give you free content updates every 2-3 months (like the catwoman stuff, and seasonal stuff like valentine's day and halloween missions), and then the paid expansions like the Green Lantern and Flash stuff.

You can't buy better weapons/gear in DCUO, just skins and styles (the different looks you can equip to your armor) and stuff like that. You still have to play to get ahead.

In my opinion yes, unless it had a hell of a system for absorbing shock. Even at terminal velocity, there would be a lot of kinetic energy. The zipped one MIGHT be fine. I find it hard to believe the open faced one would be anything but smashed if it were to land on concrete from that height.

Probably helped that they landed on a nice pillowy cushion of long grass. As a previous poster said, I would like to have seen what would happen if they landed on concrete. I'm guessing it would have been a different story.

Indeed the two stories are VERY different, but I could not help but feel a constant sense of deja vu throughout reading first Hunger Games book. That being said, both are definitely worth reading but I'm still of the opinion that Battle Royale is a MUCH better book.

Well, I for one draw the line at the ability to experience pain and suffering. Viruses and other simple life forms don't (as far as we know). That's one reason I would give as to why we should treat higher life-forms ethically and humanely.

First of all, I'm not sure what you mean by the second half of your comment, but the wick effect explains why we find burned human remains where items like legs, arms, etc. still remain and fire damage is contained to the immediate area where the body is. People often chalked this up to "Spontaneous Human Combustion"…
