That may be true, but I don't think there's a distinction between Android phone and Android Tablet.

I dunno if it has to do with being an android fanboy. If I see blatant misinformation being posted, I feel like I have to weigh in on the issue.

Not only that, but I'm reasonably certain that Android tablet browsers merely identify themselves as "Android", lumping them into the same category as the phones. Indeed in browsers where you can select the user agent, there is no differentiation between "Android Phone" and "Android Tablet". It's simply "Android".
