As a long time fan of the Conan character, particularly the Roy Thomas comic books, the films tend to screw up his origin. In both the Arnold and Momoa films, Conan is living a bucolic life of splendour in his untouched Cimmerian paradise until EVIL invades and destroys his family and village. Something similar…
