Janet was such a great character. Can’t wait to see D’Arcy’s future.

What is this app you speak of? :-)
All kids love log.
If we could bring only one Gary Larson product to life, this would make 2020 bearable.
My last PC was a Dual Xeon workstation, stuck permanently on Windows 10 Pro, version 1709. Every time it or I tried to upgrade past 1709, it hung, wouldn’t load, failed, you name it. Several times I had to do a complete reinstall, losing everything on my C: drive. My computer was a year old, using top shelf…
What an amazing cast this show had.
Excellent. Just got my next two months for free. Glad you posted this.
Excellent piece, though you missed one important tip: never hold (or remove) a hat by the brim. It harms the hat. Always hold it by the crown (the very top of the hat). Also, ditch the feather when you buy a new hat.
“Swaggering asshole charisma” is my new mantra.
I’m enjoying Crisis a lot. And I’m cool with the multiple earths being merged into one at the end of it. Or not.
What they really need to do on all these shows — and some cast members will hate this — but concentrate more on the superhero and one or two cast mates.

The Phantom Stranger movie has found its director!

My friends and I ran home every afternoon to watch Dark Shadows. It had the cardboard set aesthetic of the early Dr. Who episodes. And it featured Barnabas Collins, the archetype of all reluctant vampires who have come since, from Anne Rice’s Louis and Joss Whedon’s Angel to Supernatural’s Salvatore Brothers and True…
Winning the lottery will never solve all your problems.
But chances are, you might develop a bunch of far more interesting problems.
Life is too short to drink warm beer.
I’ve always wondered why Mel Gibson, who was so obsessed with authenticity that he had cast members learn Aramaic, yet he still shows nails being driven into the palm, not the wrist (they would tear right through the palm if done so; the bones of the wrist held crucifixion nails in place), and Gibson shows Christ…
Styptic pencils work wonders. I also find the Shave Butter from Dollar Shave Club has almost eliminated my razor cuts. Their blades are nothing special, but the Shave Butter is worth it.
Kim Newman’s excellent ‘Anno Dracula’ would make an amazing cable series.
