I did this with hockey games.

True story: About 10 years ago, before I got married, my then-girlfriend and I went on a canoe trip around Assateague Island off the Maryland eastern shore. I was living in Silicon Valley and she was living in DC. We had known each other for 10 years but were rekindling a long distance thing.

As someone who went through the last one I can assure you I didn’t get paid. I just had my salary reduced by about 20%. Sweet gig right?

Henry Hyde. America’s moral compass... who was the only S&L board member sued by Congress due to “gross negligence” in the S&L scandal... who fathered a child in an extramarital affair and was despirate to cover it up during the Clinton impeachment...

Actually, I’m surprised you think this way, because I thought you understood.

YES! I love being greeted by my creatures, it is the best thing to wake up in the morning as well.

I got my first dog a couple of months ago after being a life-long cat owner and now I see what dog-people have been saying all these years. It’s hard to still be hung up on work when I open the door and see my insanely happy dog.

Walking said dog is my decompression time.

My daughter often works at the coffee shop, the library, and other places. She decided to get an HP Chromebook because she didn’t want to risk her expensive laptop or iPad. After hearing her sing the praises of the Chromebook I started thinking about getting one of my own—to use at my daughter’s house while I’m

Chromebooks are great for “normal” stuff for sure. I still have to pull the real laptop out or go to the desktop for my work, architectural design/3D modeling. No way Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp work on a chromebook. Sure remote-desktop but I prefer my 27” lcd to see what I am doing ;) Anyway we do have a chromebook

I absolutely love my Chromebook. I do 95% of my work on it. If I could get by without using Microsoft Office for work, then I would do 100% on it. I tried to convince my office we should move everything to Google apps, but they decided to go with Office 365. It was a disappointment, but I still do most everything on

how about in the microwave, cooked between several layers of paper towel? no shrinkage, no fat, all the taste.

There can be no argument of the superiority of dogs.

The one time my wife (-to-be at the time) got called, it was the week of our wedding. She sent a letter explaining the situation to the judge whose name was on the summons and he sent back a very official, hand-signed dismissal from jury duty with a quick "Congratulations" note at the bottom. I thought it was nice.

Just don't forget the one thing they don't tell you. You have the power to try a law and if you find it unlawful can rule against it. This jury nullification idea was pretty widespread in the 19th century but prosecutors began leaving this little detail out during the 20th centuries to make their prosecution rates

Ahh, I do this already, thought I was being a bit strange that I'd note down people's children's names, favourite colours and what they like in my google contacts.

Right, but the article goes on to say that if you need to be in a creative mood, make your work area messy. A creative person might have a messier desk, but I highly doubt a messy desk makes the person creative.
