This is me. When I first got out of college I became a restaurant manager for a couple years because freelance design work in my area was slim. I still have at least a dozen ties from those days. Now I'm a full time art director, so the last time I wore one was for a funeral.

Let me guess – Step 1: Clip

There is no way to tie a half-Windsor and make it look sharp because it is fundamentally imbalanced. Use a Windsor knot and get a longer tie if you don't have enough fabric.

Some of us introverts draw Qs on our heads so other people can read 'em because we are smart enough to figure out that the only way the Q is going to be seen is by other people. Or in a mirror.

I'll use Evernote to make a note to try this out later :)

I assume you started writing your comment and then forgot what the article was about halfway through?

I had to decide on different scenarios on some. Of course I get more nervous when someone watches, but it's not overwhelming. Comparatively, when I go to a museum, or anywhere with a crowd, I am overwhelmed and completely shut down and hide in a corner because there is too much noise. Or the grocery store. My socks

I totally agree on this "test" just confirming whatever you think you have, just like every other personality test I've seen.

I agree that many of them were flawed as the wording was left up to the reader's interpretation.

I had the same reaction; the test requires the ability to observe one's self rationally and be honest, both of which are lacking in most of humanity.

I actually had a similar problem with my original Nexus 7. I think there were some hardware defects on that device, though, because if you ever went above a certain storage threshold on the 16GB model, your device would never run smoothly again. It's been a while since I used it, but I know the issue was chronicled

Not sure if anyone is aware, but a lot of other places you may already do business with can get you a discount on TurboTax. A lot of banks, investment places, and even insurance companies like to have a little ad on their websites that give you a referral discount come tax-time.

This will disable the feature once and for all:

These are great. I've am using 4 or 5 of them currently and they work really well. Knock on wood, I've never had one fail. I have used them on both Mac and PC and would definitely buy another one if I was in the market.

The ideal posture is the one that is constantly changing, too much of anything can form your body asymmetrically

My suit actually fits quite well. I have $700 suits and $70 suits. I have had quite a few suits "made to measure" and this "cheapo" fits almost as good as them (with the added benefit that I'm not super anal about ruining it).

I picked the slightly over-sized suit I did because I knew what the tailor could and

I can see that being an asset in a few fields, but I would HATE that. I manage an event venue (weddings, business, etc.) where design and aesthetic sense are things I look for. The formatting on a resume tells me a lot about a person, almost as much as the resume itself.
