What you seem to miss in glaring fashion is the fact that if you want a specific car or truck the transmission options aren’t likely to sway your purchase. Many manufacturers see offering multiple transmission options as just another parts package that they have to sell a particular amount of in order for it to make

But they will outlast steel rotors and provide incredible braking on a track...for the road they are overkill amd a bit noisy.

Sigh...breaking in an engine used to be a necessary part of ownership when engine tolerances weren’t laser precise. Now it’s literally only necessary for a few things, clutches, brakes, and new owner familiarity. The first 25 miles put on an engine out of the box matter the most because this is when the piston rings

Honestly the only impressive thing about Tesla is the drive train. The interiors are barely a step above A Ford Fusion in terms of quality and the cars themselves are pretty “bland” stylingwise. Not saying they are ugly, just not very interesting beyond trying to see if the person shelled out the big bucks for the “D”

R&T actually had the 570S and they wrecked it. The thing aboit road and track is that it seems like their reviews are softer than Motor Trend when it comes to big comparos. The NSX needed to be validated, it is so far from what made the original NSX matter as a car that Honda either paid R&T for a win or the folks

At that price give me a 570S...

I don’t know what is so outlandish about graphene batteries...you can buy them right now for RC applications like drones, cars and airplanes.

The amount of hype surrounding this game is on a level that eclipses No Man’s Sky. This fame will be a let down no matter what and is doomed to share the same fate as NMS. It cannot possibly live up to expectations it has festered in fans minds so long that it just can’t meet yhose kinds of hopes...much lile Half

A smaller displacement V8 could have more cooling capacity in the same space of the 6.2. Turbos with properly placed intercoolers can lower IATs. A supercharger puts a really hot chunk of metal right between the heads which makes it harder to cool the charge air and the integrated intercooler in the SC is severely

I love the C7 but after the Z06, forced induction on a track car seems problematic for Chevy. Sticking with the LT engine would also be kinda lame as well. If they turbo the car it would be nicer in a smaller displacement V8 than the 6.2...perhaps even throw in a hugh revving flat plane crank design in there a la

They were banking on enviro-conscious yuppies with more wealth than sense to buy into the green version. But Tesla crapped all over their party by making “affordable” electric cars and it also debuted alongside hybrids like the 918 Spyder, LaFerrari, and P1...those were kinda buzzkillers.

There’s about 1.1 million reasons why this car was killed off. Who in their right mind would spend that when the base R8 would smoke it and cost about 7 times less doing so.

Rimac partnered up with Koenigsegg for the Regera’s hybrod power setup. Rimac is at the peak of electric power generation game for autos. This Concept 1 is just sick, between this and Porsche’s Mission E the future of electric cars is looking bright!

SCG003...is just as easy as all the others. But you are forgetting another poster car.

This is what I was hearing too, seems like a good way to skirt some of the annoying regulations that inhibit our love of all things automobile.

The Bronco will be a tough sell tbh. There may be a die hard nostalgia driven group who would buy in to it, but the reality is that a Bronco will be competing with Jeep...and pretty much no one else.

The FT-1 could be mass produced, and probably we within the price range of say Corvettes. The things they can do with FRP and aluminum is amazing so the wild body contours are not as impossible as people would like to believe.

Yeah the C7 render actually came from someone inside GM, while this seems more like info from a guy sitting outside the factory catching glimpses of a mule. Time will tell but, I have a feeling this will become a joke when the actual car is revealed...just like Motor Trend renders...

Lol, sorry but that render is basically 3/4ths GT86 and the front hood and nose are just tacked on, that “scalloped” roof is also on the 86, so are the windows, doors, etc. I know that Jalopnik has its fair share of click bait...but this is bad.

Its a test mule based on the GT86...using the mule to generate a render of what is essentially a GT86 with a different front end is silly. It literally has the fender cutout, same hood, door lines, roof and other distinctly GT86 body parts.
