Also, Julia Roberts? You have gotten way slimmer since you got famous. Mystic Pizza =/= now. Seriously.

Gwynnie's dress is ill-fitting. But, gawd, Helena Christenson looks gaw-geous.

Wooden, uninspired "acting."

@edie_g: Maybe we just know how to pick 'em!

Maybe it's generational, because when I was in my 20's and unmarried (the dark ages), I never met a man who had a problem expressing himself. At all. Perhaps over the last 20 years men have become more repressed about their sexuality, or simply frightened, as women become more empowered.

My father's depression did nothing but make my childhood a misery.

@yo to the o!: Be well! Nothing wrong with taking care of yourself first.

My husband, a family practice doc, frequently uses my experiences with PPD, depression, and other maladies to connect with his patients. He tells them about me, what has worked for me, things like that, and it helps them understand that they are not alone and that there is help out there.

This is the stupidest shit I've seen all week. And I dragged through Gossip Girl last night, so that says a lot.

My dad sends me emails, and THEY ARE ALWAYS IN ALL CAPS! WE'VE TRIED EXPLAINING EMAIL ETIQUETTE TO HIM, BUT NOW I JUST PICTURE HIM YELLING EVERYTHING AT ME.

Oh, come on. Who here believes that their "engagement" was anything but a sham for the political trail? Of course it ended.

I loved Romper Room and Captain Kangeroo.

If mid-30's is middle-aged, then I must have at least one foot in the grave already!

Also, the Pogues are playing DC next weekend. So my freak of Poguesfanboy-husband insists. Like we're going to drive up there to watch Shane McG. thrash around toothlessly in a meth rage and mumble some shit or other.

If they would just do what we told them to do, we wouldn't have to nag, dammit!

I enjoyed MorningGloria's comment on the fat eating her babies and the skinny playing instruments on their ribs, so extra kudos to you, MoGlo!

Almost makes Zac Efron look good as "the future." Almost.
