I’m reminded of some other times where famous Western sci-fi’s got an anime adaption, namely when The Matrix did the Animatrix and Blade Runner did Black Out 2022.  In both cases the anime did justice to the source material I thought.

When my partner showed me the picture of Batman as Saint Sebastian I fell into a total giggle fit that escalated to uncontrolled laughter.
