I’ve been a member of Cohh’s community for over 5 years, and the best analogy I have heard is that it’s exactly like watching or consuming sporting content.

Same reason Ninja is so popular, people like watching someone do something they like, but to a level that they can’t reach. I’ve been ‘gaming’ vicariously through

Chevy’s entire lineup is cold porridge, with the exception of the Corvette and the Camero, which I like surprisingly. Who the fuck designed the front on that Blazer, it’s complete garbage!

So you would rather have tainted outcome, where a time wins or loses when they should not, they have a replay slightly dampen your fucking watching experience.... ok then.

Yesterday, millions around the world... *wet fart sound*

The 3.6 is just a dog engine. It has way less torque than an engine of comparable size and the HP is dreadful for the displacement. As a apples to oranges comparison, but I’ll use it anyway, the Camry’s 3.5 is rated at 301/267, compared to Subaru’s 256/247. PATHETIC.

Where is the damn WRX Subaru.....where. We have literally NO INFO!

Agreed, if Apple made two iPhones, the regular ‘iPhone X’ and the ‘iPhone Bald Eagle’, that was literally the exact same, but made 100% in the US, but was priced to what labor costs to make it, they would sell zero. Because the one made here would cost 25% more.

And everyone’s all, AMERICA!, until the bill comes.

There’s nothing to argue about. You’re 100% right and I agree with you. The issue here is they are slapping an American flag on it because they know people are stupid!

I mean, that last question was rhetorical, right? Because, 100%, we’re the biggest suckers for this.

For some reason a large portion of the country doesn’t understand that we live in a global society/economy.

I had the displeasure of riding in one for a 6 hour round trip jaunt one day. Holy hell, awful. Plus, the person driving, sold it after 6 months, because she kept backing into stuff, there’s almost no one to see out the back. The viability is god-awful.

I see we’re using the word ‘career’ pretty loosely these days, hu?

Okey then.

Everyone saw this coming, NO ONE DENIES THIS!

Is.... is that Tomato?

Work can wait, top score of 141 so far. lets go internet world!

Who knows, i’d be interested in seeing what the exact language is and what sort of position requirments go with that. For instance, does it have to pay the same amount or being within a certain %? Do they have to offer a full time position for a previously full time employee, etc.?

No, I completely agree, I think it’s a great contract stipulation, but Nolan’s article and 100% of the first dozen replies were all people thinking it was complete protection.

Hell, they could say, ‘Kinjawidget, we don’t need another reply person, but we do need someone to clean toilets after the Gawker holiday

I replied to Nolan as well, I suggested we eliminate the ‘Senior Writer’ position and make a Senior GIF curator’ instead.

Except the way Nolan described it is not accurate. They can fire you, they just can’t downsize and eliminate your position without offering you another job in another part of the company.

But that’s not what that means....at all. The employee can be fired, for the various reasons I’m sure are outlined in their contract as firable offenses, what it means is that the ‘position’ can not be eliminate due to downsizing, etc., without offering that person another position in the company. They can’t say ‘we
