You hit the issue, the company’s making GOOD sedans. GM and Ford weren’t making good cars. Food’s Fiesta and Focus were good, the Fusion is crap, and most of Chevy’s car lineup is crap compared to Toyota, Honda and the rest.

Welp, let’s just hope they do the LCI a year early...

It’s not really up to him. Basically, she’s saying you can do it after you re-open the government, or not at all and instead submit it in writing.

Yeah, than it’s the same, I was looking at 2014-2016 CPO ATS’s at the time.

The seats were not comfortable for one, especially in the ATS. You have to get the ATS-V to get them with any functional bolstering. The amount of piano black plastic in the dash and center console is staggering.

And the infotainment is one of the most unintuitive things I’ve ever used.  Also, if you didn’t read below,

Yeah, but then it wouldn’t be so damn affordable! I even got a limited trim and I love the leather seats. The only thing that bothers me is the top info screen cover. The JDM leather wrapped one is 1000% better.

So I went and looked up some sales numbers... the fucking Jeep COMPASS, outsold the Dodge Durango 2.5 times over. The Jeep GC was nearly toe to toe in sales with the Ford Explorer, the best selling SUV in that segment. Jeep would sell the hell out of a 3-row that looked and drove like a Jeep.

Am I the only one here

My god, the Commander was SUCH a POS....wow. But you’re right, with the rate that Jeep is printing money at the moment, one has to wonder why they don’t have one in their lineup. Add 2 feet to the Grand Cherokee and call it the Grander Cherokee, I don’t know, i’m just spit-ballin’ here.

So I tested a 335xi yesterday, didn’t really get enough time in it, not bad. Steering was great in Sport, felt like an Oldsmobile in comfort... We had 8" of snow on Saturday, so I couldn’t really drive like I wanted to with the sales guy, but, I’ve got a few weeks. Guy I worked with said if the costs were the same,

No, but I don’t think it’s as bad as everyone else here does. It was just the most engaging car that I drove. It would be way easier for me to sell it if I hated driving it, but that’s not the case, I love driving it.  If you read the WCSIB article that Tom wrote, it’s a love/hate relationship....

So here’s my current list to replace my cursed WRX: S3, S4, 335xi, 340xi, S60 T6-R, Q50 3.0T, working with Tom. Gut reaction choice?

What? It’s .16% of the population.

Meanwhile in the US, the greatest healthcare system in the world, 13.5% of American’s don’t have health insurance.

I was totally with you until you said make it political helps nobody... If you or I decided to up and go to Canada for a medical procedure, who fucking cares, but a politician who has literally given himself a hernia (body slammed, I know...) shouting down single payer healthcare and insisting that privately run

This was a few years ago, I was shopping for an AWD sport sedan, similar to what i’m doing again now for a number of reasons, and I ordered an WRX.

The terrible interiors of Caddy trope?, or.... I’ve literally test drove two different ATS’s a CTS and a CTS V-Sport, neither are the best in their class and we didn’t buy any of them.

I borrowed an S3 from a co-worker for a weekend to try it out, put my son’s car seat in the back, no issues. The ATS’s back seat is SMALLER, and literally unusable unless the only back seat occupants would be dogs.

I test drove an ATS two years ago with the manual, but the AWD was only available with the auto.....RIP.

Our last 3 vehicle purchases i’ve wanted to get a Caddy, and then I go and sit in one and well, I’ve never owned one.

It being a mirror image is fitting, that’s what Cadillac see’s itself as when it looks in the mirror. To bad the reality is pretty bleak.

A few of the other comments have addressed it, but I really think this was Cadillac getting something to market as soon as possible and the exterior design will take a step forward in the mid cycle refresh two years from now. Then again I said that about the ATS........

Through our last two vehicle purchases we tried and tried to love a Cadillac, but every time we go sit in one the interior is just not a good place to be compared to every other car in the similar segment.
