Good investment or not? Well .... if they had put the purchase price ($35K) into FORD stock in 2002, they would have about the same amount left (plus 16 years of dividends). If they had put the money into Apple Computer .... ha, ha .... they would have quite the nest egg of about between $2M and $3M.

The problem with that is you’re assuming that the driver actually intends to exit. I know for a fact there are many people who signal and never follow through with it and end up creating a mess. Those types of drivers have made me extremely paranoid.

If that’s truly the case, my next question is “why do you work somewhere that you can’t afford to live anywhere near?” I could work in downtown San Francisco, LA or New York City and not have a 2-3 hour commute while still living in relatively normally-priced housing.

Serious question: Why do you live so far from where you work? I can’t imagine spending 3-4 hours of my day simply coming and going to work.

There surely can’t be a complete lack of affordable housing closer to work?

I want one that’ll last longer than 5 years, and not be frigtening to own after 75,000 miles.

Assuming the guy doing the filming was doing roughly the speed limit, and he seems to be keeping pace with the guy up ahead of him so it seems like a reasonable assumption... then the guy being harassed is passing at a reasonable rate of overtake in the left lane and therefore is doing pretty much exactly as he should…
