Why make your little brother be the “flashlight bitch” while you get to enjoy all the wrenchin’?

With technology advancing so fast in these hyper cars, I wonder how long it will be before the electric motors will be a part of the actual wheel? Talk about bolt-on horsepower! Of course the unsprung weight problem would have to be addressed.

They call that a burnout???

Nice socks.

And in a side-note, Mr. Panda car was tasered, beaten and shot.

Concerning the comment comparing our choices of a Honda 300F or the KTM 390 Duke, I have found that the latter is pretty much unobtanium unless you live in SoCal. Plus the service network for KTM’s is lacking. I’d readily choose a Honda or BMW just for peace of mind irrespective of the technical advantages the KTM

I doubt my comment will get published .... but sort of a cheap ass neighborhood for someone to be driving a Tesla. Ok, let the shots be fired.

Yeah, why walk when you can drive 50 ft.

VW in a world of hurt. And now I hear there is a camshaft lobe shearing-off problem with the gasoline engines. WTF

Best deal on a base GTI, 4 door, manual transmission that I have found was $22,806. And then you can subtract $2K from that figure if you currently own a VW.

Evidentally engine blocks should be made out of ceramic instead.

I also live in Colorado. I appreciate this roadside testing from the standpoint of not having to go into the emissions testing stations and have to deal with 1) idiots that don’t really know how to drive a manual transmission car that well, 2) grease on my leather seats, 3) coinage missing from my center console.

And Lamborghini to BURN.

Could be the best time ever to buy a GTI. With current VW ownership yielding a $2500 bonus, I priced the base model 4 door 6-spd manual at $22K.

Definitely not a cold weather car.

Looks a lot like a VW Bug from the 60’s to me.

Obvious that Mr. Upton of Michigan is an idiot. And after a very clear description of the scenario of how the cars fail emissions, he still doesn’t understand.

Mandatory recall for your VW diesel or you can’t re-register your car. Only fair for us non-VW owners.

New York Times article says 2015 Golf Sportwagens are also polluters. This conflicts with the jalopnik article but who are you going to believe.

Surprised that this VW emblem is not cracked and totally degraded like the one on my NB and a majority of the others I’ve seen.
