I ask you - Who loves cordless drills (when they work) but hate them when the batteries are dead? All of the same exact issues - let them discharge too much (and too many times) and they no longer take a charge. Try to replace the batteries only to find out it is almost cheaper to just buy a new drill.
And this points out another Tesla design flaw. Most electronics these days have internal switching power supplies that can accommodate high or low voltage input. Instead of the standard 115 volt input they run just fine with anywhere from 85 to 135 volts typically.
