Lucas Blight will always be the best villain in all of rpgs. Between his downright unwillingness to go down during that final fight, the fact that he's just a normal, mortal human, and the fact that his endgame is just to reign down destruction on the earth he will always be my favorite. And the whole "watched mom get…
If you're like jrpgs, especially more mature, thoughtful ones, your owe it to yourself to play lost Odyssey. Its easily one of my favorite rpgs of this last generation.
I have no idea why one huge chunk of text is highlighted. Weird.
3ds n an 360 man for this whole generation, though I had a ps3 that only worked for a year (and I sold it last year tobacco man in the game stop line. I was homeless for 2 weeks, and craving Jimmy johns). Last week my main 360 started acting up, and instead of buying a new one (I can just use my little brothers) I…
The problem is, too many developers try to shoehorn boss fights into genres they dont belong in. (like 99 percent of FPS') it seems like they feel obligated.
Also, its become hip to hate on boss fights. I would assume because theyre seen as a relic of the past, just like turn based combat. People think that evolving…
The best boss fights I've ever delt with are the Virgil fights from the Devil May Cry games. Virgil in DMC3 is fast, brutal and exciting. Even at the lower difficulties he will kick you're ass unless you put everything you've got into it.
The Virgil fight from DMC(reboot) is just as good if not better. Its a little…
Theyre more figurines than anything. Theyre REAL nice though. I've avoided buying it because I already have skylanders, and have bought more figures than I'm proud to admit, but, damn, this new wave of figures is testing my self control. Not only do I absolutely love wreck it Ralph, but Tangled is my absolute favorite…
"Fighting games thrive on big, fat, overstuffed rosters."
Why exactly? I don't think it's necessarily a great way to release a fighting game, but in terms of value its honestly not bad. If it were a full retail release, it would be 60, which would be significantly more expensive than buying all the characters in this free to play model. So, yeah, what's the problem exactly?
I think the tangled figures may have pushed the game from "don't need it, because I've already spent hundreds on sky lenders figures" to "dammit, now I want it"
Attack on Titan is pretty brutal when it comes to killing off characters, but it still tends to stray away from killing off any of the A listers. Goddamn that show is spectacular.
Oh no! He's come back to finish what he started!
It's right up there with zoolander, Joe dirt, and role models in the "movies I should hate, but inexplicably love" category
The 3ds should be part of everyone's household. And I'm, like, OBLIGATED to buy a wii u when bayonetta 2 comes out.
This pun thread is kind of... Shitty.
Go with th XL for sure. Its more comfortable (imo), the big screen is great (and makes the 3d easier to see), and the zelda one is boss as hell (I like my pokemon one a little better, but just a little). It won't fit in my skinny jeans, but it fits in my work pants just fone, and theyre just normal fit khakis. Not an…
Please ignore any spelling errors and/or missing words. Its 5 am here and I'm not sure how to edit my comments : /
Bayonetta is easily my second favorite 3rd person action game of all time ( only topped, slightly, by the new DMC which is pretty much PERF) but I'm not sure how I feel about an anime : / bayonettas was batshit crazy, and being able to do all those crazy things while fighting made it a completely unique experience,…
Are you talking about mirror of fate? Its actually a port of the most recent (and only) 3ds castlevania game. Its bridges lords of shadow and lords of shadow 2 storywise. Its not a great game, but id say its worth 15 bucks if (like me) you're starved for a new metroidvania game. The art direction is terrible, and…
