A Tahoe isn’t hideous? Since when? It’s every bit the bumbling behemoth that an Escalade is... The last vestigial of a formerly bloaty, embarrassing Cadillac that’s all but otherwise been fixed since 2001.

Are you saying you doubt think $70k for a Tahoe should be cause for fall-on-the-floor levels of pointing and laughing at someone telling you they did that?
Bidding is up to $50k on a car without a title, that may have liens and who knows what else (read: may never be able to be titled. May be repossessed, resulting in loss of $50k+)?
Thanks for the truly awesome article on an epic awesome car.
Did you just make the argument that bumper stickers can cause road rage?
I was going to say exactly this...
IF it were either AWD or quick, it would be a slam dunk at this price, no doubt. Especially if both.
Haven’t seen a Jeep rust in recent memory?
I only have one question:
Blame their crap comment system that stacks articles in line, doesn’t keep you logged in on the phone, then doesn’t bring you back where you were when you log in. Again.
Edit.
Disclaimer:
I only have one question:
I had a mid 90s Pathfinder. It was fortunately 5speed and RWD, so I lowered it after I brown stained the driver seat going around a corner once, forgetting it wasn’t my autocross car.
I was in a similar boat...
“...torque is what moves an object.”
“...pictures that seem to indicate whether o not the side windows have chrome trim as a big indicator if you cheaped out or not.”
A car is about more than color of course... And the Golf R brings it - but honestly that Canadian web page started to get me excited - in a way that had me starting down that road of thinking “next car?”
Totally fair! Even the 4 cylinder Mustang today would embarrass this one... the 460 HP one is something I thought I’d never even hear of in “just” the GT model. That was HP that was hard to make in the aftermarket, back then. It’s crazy to think of.
Good point - I wouldn’t buy one of those either!
